Scottsdale man skates more than 13 miles to work

Rae Larson is a friend, an example of a dedicated Christ-follower, administrator at Phoenix Seminary, member of Scottsdale Bible Church and long time former member of the SBC staff.

On Rae Larson's 50th birthday, his children got him two things: A pair of in-line skates. And a cane. Nine years later, Larson has gone through more than 200 in-line skate wheels. And he hasn't used the cane once. The Scottsdale resident enjoys the sport so much, he skates most days to his job at Phoenix Seminary, near 42nd Street and Thomas Road.
